One sunny day in the countryside, the city mouse was
on his way to visit his cousin, country mouse.
The country mouse welcomed his cousin into his cozy
cottage with open arms.
He laid out a feast of only his best foods.
While eating away, the city mouse boasted about his
fancy life in the city.
He invited the country mouse to visit, promising to
show him some real food and excitement.
With plans to meet again, the city mouse was off.
From that day on, country mouse couldn't stop thinking
about city life!
Cars faster than cats! Buildings taller than trees!
Impossible!
When he got there, it was everything he thought it
would be.
Country mouse had never tasted so many delicious
cuisines!
He spent his time chatting with city mouse, eating
fancy city foods, and seeing fancy places.
One day, when the mice were enjoying their meal, a
giant cat's shadow suddenly loomed over them.
"Run!!!"
The cat chased them all around, until they narrowly
escaped!
It was then the country mouse realized he would much
rather live a safe and simple life than an extravagant life filled with danger
and fear.
So, he packed up his belongings, said farewell to the
city mouse, farewell to the buildings taller than trees, and farewell to the
cars faster than cats, and returned home to his comfortable cottage in the
forest.
Be grateful for what you have, not everything is what
it seems.
