Odysseus (In a normal voice): I remember a wife. A son. Home.

Female Voice: Ithaca is a kingdom waiting for a king.

Young Voice: My dad is coming home.

Male Voice: They're pining for a daddy he didn't even know. Like some sniveling bastard.

Female Voice: Ithaca's king is coming back. Bringing vengeance.

Female Voice: Bringing hell to all.

Odysseus: I could take this throne.

Female Voice (Whispering): They are not giving up power to you, or Odysseus.

Female Voice: Do you think life goes back to the way it was?

Female Voice: That world is gone.

Female Voice (Whispering): If he returned, he'd have to kill them. Like you will.

Odysseus: The gods don't speak in ways we understand.

Female Voice: Who doesn't understand pain?

Female Voice: Or blood? The gods told you...

Odysseus: Then I defy the gods.
